Two decades ago, Josh Thompson took his first guitar lesson under the guidance of Ben Riley. That pivotal moment ignited a lifelong passion...of which Josh promptly quit later to focus on his budding basketball career. Eventually Josh saw the light that... Ben Riley was an awful guitar teacher and began his own journey to being a phenomenal guitar player. Today, Josh's love for Fender is unmistakable. He possesses an undeniable addiction to Fender amps and is particularly enamored with HSS-configured Fender Stratocasters. Among his prized possessions is an HSS Strat that, to the world, gleams in vibrant purple. But if you ask Josh? He'll proudly tell you it's blue. And out of sheer affection for him, we all happily agree.
